Brun, Jacken (#3): Universally considered to be unbeatable in hand-to-hand combat, Jacken is head of the Warrior Class. His half-demon bloodlines relegated him to a life without a mate…until Dr. Toni Parthen (an eventual co-leader of the community of Ţărână) used her smarts to find a way for them to be together in Book 1, THE BLOODLINE WAR. As two of the most powerful people in the community, Jacken and Toni sometimes butt heads, but mostly they navigate their positions well. Jacken is the middle brother between Nyko (older) and Shon (younger). The three Brun brothers had a rough beginning in life, raised in the neighboring demon town of Oţărât. Jacken has a daughter, Sharanna.
Brun, Nyko (#12): Known as “Big Nyko” for his enormous size, Nyko holds the unenviable position of being the police’s police (meaning, if a warrior needs disciplining, the chore falls to him). In a side story of Book 3, BLOOD-BONDED BY FORCE, Nyko found true love with former prima ballerina, Faith Teague…but only after a deadly foray into the Hell Tunnels to save her. Faith’s twin, Kacie, is bonded to Nyko’s younger brother, Shon. Nyko has three children, all boys, although only one has been named (Mihail). Faith is pregnant with their fourth.
Costache, Arc (#10): One of the famously handsome Costache brothers, Arc’s younger brother, Thomal, is also a warrior. In a side story of THE BLOODLINE WAR, Arc was too focused on sex with his wife and not listening to her. Beth, a fashion designer, taught him how to be her champion, and now the couple has three children, Lysha, Brynt, and Garez. Arc was abused at the hands of Thomal’s mate, Pandra, and this has put a wedge between the brothers that they still struggle to heal.
Costache, Thomal (#1): Thomal traveled a tough enemies-to-lovers journey with half-demon, Pandra Parthen, on his way to finding an HEA in book 3 of the series, BLOOD-BONDED BY FORCE. Thomal is a talented artist, though he keeps this skill on the downlow, and is best friends with fellow warrior, Dev Nichita. Thomal has a son, Luken.
Dalakis, Breen (#6): Lurking behind a fall of hair over one eye, Breen is known as the “quiet warrior.” He doesn’t speak much, but in book 4, MOON-RIDERS, he had to find his voice to tame wild, party girl, Charlize Renault, long enough for her to fall for him. He is an Xbox gaming buddy with fellow warrior, Jeddin. His younger brother, Barbu, lives in the slums of Stânga Town.
Korzha, Kasson (#7): Kasson started out in THE BLOODLINE WAR as one of Toni Parthen’s mate choices, but he has evolved (behind the scenes) in the series to end up with Rachel. They have one child together. Kasson’s mother, Ælsi, owns and operates the town coffee hangout, Aunt Ælsi’s Coffee Shop.
Lazăr, Nicolae (#11): Known as a Moon-Rider Vârcolac, Nicolae arrived in the community from Romania within the last year. Raised outside of modern society in the Carpathian Mountains, Nicolae is innocent in the ways of women. He blunders often on his mission to win the beautiful, sweet-smelling, Hadley Wickstrun, a newly minted witch. Hadley wants nothing to do with him (or does she?).
Lazăr, Vasile (#2): Also a Moon-Rider vampire, this stoic warrior from Book 5, HALF-MOON RISING, knows as little about women as his younger brother, Nicolae. Vasile’s limited knowledge of the English language didn’t help him to woo idealistic lawyer, Corky Disdale. Fate intervened, and Vasile landed Corky when she stepped in to save his life. But luck wasn’t good enough for this prideful vampire. He set out to earn Corky, and he ended up using his knowledge of the land in a very creative way to please her.
Nichita, Dev [Devid] (#5): Dev started the series as a bit too entitled and arrogant, leading him to lose his fated mate, Marissa Bonaventure, a restauranteur and chef, in book 2, THE PUREST OF THE BREED. He fought hard to find his way back into Marissa’s heart, and he has been on a trajectory of amazing growth ever since, even securing himself a spot as leader of the community’s elite combat unit, the Spec Ops Topside Team. He operates with a cool head and gives sound advice. His sister is Luvera, a good-natured soul, who is bonded to nerdy computer expert, Alex Parthen (Toni’s older brother). Dev has a son, Randon, and a daughter, Maylie.
Pavenic, Gábor (#9): The smart-mouthed “bro” of the warriors, Gábor is a regular of the series, but has never had a dedicated story of his own. He is bonded to Chelsea Bryant, tiny in stature but feisty in personality. She is pregnant with their first child.
Stănescu, Sedge (#8): A somewhat Fabio look alike, Sedge is bonded to fiery lawyer, Kimberly Wilson. An unhappy secret of Kimberly’s pushed these two into some serious marital problems in a side-story of THE BLOODLINE WAR. But their love for each other prevailed. Once a member of the Spec Ops Topside Team, Sedge now soldiers closer to home. He has a son, Breuse, and a daughter, Chally.
Zeklos, Jeddin (#4): The warrior with white-blond hair, Jeddin is an Xbox gaming buddy of Breen’s. So far Jeddin has only been a side character in the series.
